Digital TestDaF Reading: Ordering Text Sections

Ordering text sections is an official four-item digital TestDaF reading task; it tests the logical flow of a text.
A way to approach it
Mark the opening and closing sentence of each section. Connectors, pronouns and references to earlier information reveal the sequence.
Final check
Read the final order continuously; an unexplained pronoun or conclusion is a sign to check the join.
Practise with the official sample
Try the TestDaF-Institut sample before reading its explanation. Compare your answers with the key and, where available, the transcript. Record why each mistake occurred and rehearse with a timer because the digital test does not let you return to a previous task.
