Goethe B1 Listening Part 2: One Speaker and a/b/c Items

In the official B1 adult model, Listening Part 2 is a monologue (for example a museum tour) played only once; it has five a/b/c items (11–15) and you get 60 seconds to read them.
A way to approach it
Use the 60 seconds to mark each item's key word and how the options differ. Because the recording plays once, mark an answer as soon as you hear it and move straight on.
Final check
Do not wait on an item you missed, or you will lose the next one too. Watch for information the speaker corrects or limits with aber, and for details such as numbers, times and places.
Practise with the official sample
Take the relevant part of the Goethe-Institut adult model set to its official time. Use the key for Reading and Listening and the published criteria for Writing and Speaking. In your next attempt, measure whether the same error recurs.
