The Writing module requires three communication tasks in 60 minutes. Marks depend not only on grammar but also on task completion, coherence and appropriate vocabulary.
The three tasks

What is assessed?
The official model assesses task fulfilment, coherence, vocabulary and structures. A text that misses a prompt point cannot rely on a few accurate sentences for a strong result.
Dictionaries and phones are not allowed in the real exam.
Final checklist
- Answer every content point.
- Match greeting and closing to the reader.
- Give each paragraph one clear job.
- Check verb position, nouns and punctuation.
