Goethe B2 Reading Part 2: Sentence Gaps

In the official adult model set, Reading Part 2 asks candidates to fill six gaps in a text with suitable sentences.
A way to approach it
Read before and after each gap. Check pronoun references, time sequence and connectors that signal contrast.
Final check
The inserted sentence must connect to both sides of the gap; fitting only the sentence before it is insufficient.
Practise with the official sample
Take the relevant part of the Goethe-Institut adult model set to its official time. Use the key for Reading and Listening and the published criteria for Writing and Speaking. In your next attempt, measure whether the same error recurs.
