Goethe B2 Speaking: Interaction in Discussion

Interaction is an official B2 speaking criterion assessing how candidates respond to a partner and move a discussion forward together.
A way to approach it
Acknowledge your partner’s point in one sentence, then add your reason. Return the turn with a question or a shared point.
Final check
Avoid chaining memorised phrases; make sure you work with the other view as well as stating your own.
Practise with the official sample
Take the relevant part of the Goethe-Institut adult model set to its official time. Use the key for Reading and Listening and the published criteria for Writing and Speaking. In your next attempt, measure whether the same error recurs.
