Goethe B2 Speaking Part 2: Discussion

In the adult model set, Part 2 is a discussion of about five minutes with a partner: exchange positions, respond to arguments and summarise the outcome.
A way to approach it
Open with a position and reason, then respond directly to your partner. If you disagree, add a counterargument and an alternative.
Final check
Make it a dialogue rather than a memorised monologue; end by stating the shared result or remaining difference.
Practise with the official sample
Take the relevant part of the Goethe-Institut adult model set to its official time. Use the key for Reading and Listening and the published criteria for Writing and Speaking. In your next attempt, measure whether the same error recurs.
