A sound plan starts with evidence, not a calendar. Take the official mock under timed conditions, classify mistakes by skill and cause, then give the two weakest areas more weekly practice.

Intensive 4-week schedule

  • Week 1: diagnostic; one receptive subskill each weekday, error repair at the weekend.
  • Week 2: three Writing tasks, each rewritten after a content, organisation and accuracy review.
  • Week 3: three recorded Speaking rehearsals focused on response, reasons and compromise.
  • Week 4: two full simulations; between them, repair only recurring error types.

A 75-minute day

  • 10 min: review old errors and vocabulary.
  • 25 min: one exam subtask.
  • 20 min: check and name the cause of each error.
  • 15 min: one paragraph or a 90-second spoken response.
  • 5 min: set one target for tomorrow.

Review progress weekly using the same measures: accuracy, time and recurring-error count—not the raw score alone.
