Digital or Paper-Based TestDaF?

Both versions have the same level and validity, but the difference is not simply screen versus paper: the task types differ too. Digital TestDaF uses more short and integrated-skill tasks. The paper exam centres on three longer reading texts, three longer listening texts and one graph-plus-argument writing task. Speaking is recorded on a computer in both versions.

Timing and item counts can vary when non-scored trial tasks are included in a digital sitting; the official site says all candidates in a sitting receive tests of equal length.

Which should you choose?
