Same timing, different language domain
The official tables give identical section counts and timings. In B1+ Beruf, however, reading texts, listening situations, writing and speaking are grounded in working life.
A general B1 mock can familiarise you with the broad format, but cannot replace vocational vocabulary practice.
Is B1+ Beruf for one profession?
No. It tests communication across everyday working life, and its product page does not require experience in a particular profession.
Sector exams such as Pflege are separate products with different tasks.
Choosing the certificate
- Ask the employer or authority for the exact certificate name.
- General B1 suits broad everyday language; B1+ Beruf may demonstrate workplace communication more directly.
- A shared B1 label does not guarantee interchangeable acceptance in every process.
