Your centre's invitation takes priority for local details. telc rules require valid official photo ID, and candidates arriving after official announcements have begun are excluded.
The day before
- Confirm address, entrance, check-in and written/oral times from the invitation.
- Check that ID is valid and matches the registered name.
- Prepare required pens, a transparent label-free water bottle and tissues if needed.
- Learn the device-storage arrangement; bring no dictionary or notes.
At the centre
| Do | Do not |
|---|---|
| Arrive early with ID ready | Risk arriving after announcements begin |
| Follow invigilator instructions | Keep even a silent phone on your person |
| Mark the correct answer sheet | Rely on the task booklet alone |
| Raise your hand for a problem | Talk to candidates or share materials |
Twenty-second reset
- Are name and code fields correct?
- What are the task count, time and marking method?
- Have I budgeted answer transfer?
- For Speaking, do notes contain order and keywords rather than a script?
If your centre's written invitation differs from this general guide, follow the centre's current instruction.
