The telc B2 oral exam lasts about 15 minutes, is normally a pair examination and includes 20 minutes of preparation. At B2, the goal is not merely to keep talking but to justify views, listen and build a solution with a partner.

How to make the phrases sound natural
- Choose two phrases for each function and create three personal examples.
- For an experience report, practise event, evaluation, reason and example in sequence.
- In the joint task, ask, respond to the suggestion and summarise the agreement aloud.
- Write keywords and sequence—not a full script—during preparation.
A chain of set phrases is not interaction. Connect your turn to what your partner has just said.
