TestDaF or KAYS at Turkish-German University?

TestDaF is an international standardised German exam. KAYS is an internal proficiency exam without international status, used when TestDaF cannot be administered.

How is KAYS assessed?
The general TGU page defines KAYS as an internal exam. Its current pass criteria and administration must be checked in the YDYO decision or announcement for that sitting; TestDaF’s TDN scale does not automatically apply.
Can you choose either one?
KAYS is not presented as a general elective replacement for TestDaF. It is used when TestDaF cannot be administered and the student has an internal exam entitlement.
