A1–A2Foundations and everyday communication
B1–B2Independent use and academic transition
C1 / TestDaF preparationAdvanced language and exam tasks

Classes and assessment

  • Attendance and level-assessment conditions apply from A1 to B2.
  • The official page states 24 class hours and 6 hours of individual/asynchronous work per week.
  • There is no separate level exam at the end of C1 or TestDaF preparation.
  • After TestDaF preparation, students continue with Moodle materials independently.

Moving to the degree programme

Completing B2 gives eligible preparatory students access to TestDaF; it does not itself complete the proficiency requirement. The TestDaF passing condition must also be met.
