For TGU, working only toward a total is not enough; all four skills must reach TDN 3. This eight-week framework gives extra time to the weakest skill.
Eight weeks
| Week | Focus |
|---|---|
| 1 | Official baseline and error log |
| 2–3 | Weakest skill and academic vocabulary |
| 4–5 | Task types and timing in all skills |
| 6 | Writing/speaking production and feedback |
| 7 | Two full timed simulations |
| 8 | Review, rhythm and exam-day preparation |
Weekly balance
- Two sessions for the weakest skill.
- One session for each other skill.
- One session for vocabulary, notes and academic expressions.
- One simulation followed by error analysis.
Keep formats separate
Paper-based and digital TestDaF use different task structures. Confirm the format in TGU’s current notice, then use TestDaF-Institut models for that format.
This plan does not guarantee a result. It provides a measurable routine without neglecting any skill.
